Emily Grimshaw, MD
Dr. Emily Grimshaw is a board-certified dermatologist. She attended Indiana University and received a Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance, summa cum laude. Dr. Grimshaw also completed her pre-medical requirements while at Indiana University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Dr. Grimshaw completed her internship at The Medical Hospital in Houston, TX, and her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, where she served as chief resident her senior year.
While completing her training and medical degree, Dr. Grimshaw was published in several dermatological publications and presented at the Texas Dermatological Society’s Annual meetings.
Dr. Grimshaw joined Dallas Associated Dermatologists July of 2018.
In addition to her academic success, Dr. Grimshaw is also an accomplished ballet dancer. She received a full scholarship to the Bartholin International Ballet Seminar in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2003 and 2004. While at Indiana University, she had various roles with the IU Ballet Theater in Les Sylphides, The Nutcracker, Cinderella and many more.
Her free time consists of yoga, traveling new places, cooking, running with her dogs and spending time with her husband.
